Ovoid, non-hollow body resting on a round laurel wreath base with rectangular plinth showing Louis XVI style foliage frieze. The ovoid body with lozenge leaves and fluting, the center of the front being decorated with a winged Medusa head. Each side with large rectangular handles issuing from rams’ heads and being decorated with laurel wreath garlands. Long and slender neck with palmetto leaf frieze topped by a a domed cover with pineapple handle.
Large and very impressive decorative Louis XVI style vase of excellent chasing perfect as a centerpiece for e.g. a large entrance hall or grand salon.
