A demilune or semi-elyptical commode with a straight front and curved sides: The commode is raised by four tapering rectangular legs with gilt-bronze sabots and opens with three straight drawers mounted with neoclassical ringhandles on circular backplates. The commode or table chiffonière is topped by a white marble top following the shape of the commode and being surrounded by a small pierced brass gallery.
The Louis XVI commode is made of walnut displaying a beautiful warm honey-like colour and retains its original finish, color and patina while being absolutely stable for every-day use and can be added easily to a classical as well as a modern ambiance.
