A semi-circular backplate in the shape of a tapering and fluted pilaster being crowned by a ribbon drapery with a fluttering bow at the top, the lower part ending in a acanthus flower finial. Three scrolled light arms decorated with foliage and pearl frieze, the one in the center issuing from a goat’s head’s mask. Vase-shaped nozzles with removable drip pans. Back of the back plate with unidentified stamp: “EP”.
The pair of wall lights was electrified at an earlier time, as cable holes on the light arms imply, so that an electrification can easily be restored.
