Oval gilt Bronze basket being built of two oval rings with lanceolate leaf friezes which are joined by figural cut-out reliefs depicting females Bacchantes and Cupids on pillars. The Louis XVI style jardinière stands on four hoof feet mit foliage decoration and still consists of the original oval shaped glass bowl qwith cut diamond frieze and a cut star decoration at the bottom.
Very charming Louis XVI style jardiniere or planter of the 19th century perfect for a dinner table or center table decoration.
