Georges Henri Bilhaut ‘Small Hamlet before a Storm’

Georges Henri Bilhaut (1882-1963) was a painter and art historian from Abbeville/ Normandy, he studied at the Colle`ge Courbet d’Abbeville and was a pupil of Fernand Cormon at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He is known for his evocative landscape paintings, mostly of the Normandy region.
