A triangular shaped Dutch marquetry fold over game table. The marquetry top depicting a bowl of flowers, scrollwork and more flowers surrounded by string inlay. The top is hinged and opens to reveal the actual game table inlaid with a chess board heightened with green stained harewood stringing, laying cards and dices. When opened up the table stands on four square tapering legs. The leg at the back is telescopic, pulling out to support the top when it is open. The front legs and frieze inlaid with floral marquetry. Beautiful and stylish piece for lovers of chess and other games.
