An elegant small French Empire Ormolu Vase-Shaped Mantle Clock, ca. 1815
An Empire ormolu mantle clock, the white enamel and guillioche gilt-bronze dial with Roman numerals within a urn-shaped case surmounted by two scrolled handles, centered by a pierced top, raised on an octogonale base with ormolu mounts depicting stylised foliage and wreaths, on toupie feet. Clock with silk suspension, bell on half-hour and hour with pendulum.
