Elegant small Empire gilded bronze jardinière with original glass insert from the mid of the 19th century:
oval bronze frame on four small acanthus leaf feet with openwork, finely chased relief decoration in the form of laurel wreaths with moving ribbons alternating with narrow pilasters decorated with small daisy-like flowers. The jardinère is topped by a bronze band with a fine palmetto leaf frieze and still has the original oval glass insert, the rim being cut in a curvey outline.
