A fine gilt-bronze cut-crystal tent and bag chandelier with a corona in the form of a crown made of small facetted pearls above a fine bronze band, from which is suspended chains of graduated cut-crystal pearls to an elaborate gilt-bronze gallery, finely cast and pierced with inset matted Murano pearls. The below basket is woven in a trellis with matt and clear crystals above a bronze ring hang with matt Murano drops and a solid cut-crystal ball. An exceptional beautiful chandelier with nine lights inside, the subtle play of matt and cut-crystal surfaces illustrates its South of France origin paired with Italian Murano glass, a combination that adds a charm and playfulness.
