A large late 18th century white marble and gilt-bronze mantel clock, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals inset with three subsidiary dials: One indicating the day of the week, another the day of the month and a second dial. The whole contained within a plinth shaped case, surmounted by Athena with the attributes of her victories (trident, crown and Nemean Lion), on a break front white marble base, on gilt bronze ball feet. Clock of elegant design and size, with silk suspension, bell on half-hour and hour, with pendulum and the desirable subsidiary dials.
