Large Empire Style Tent-and-Bag 11-light Chandelier, Early 20th Century
An elegant and large Empire style 11-light chandelier with a bronze cast corona hang with suspended chains of graduated octagonal flatback beads, with a central gilt bronze tier depicting acanthus leaves, scrolls and rocaille ornaments and supporting eight scrolled and foliate cast candle arms, each hang with plain icicle drops. From the tier a basket of further graduated octagonal flatback beads is suspended and terminates in cut-glass font. Wired for electricity with additional 3 interior lights.
