Pair of early 19th century French Empire gilt bronze amphora vases: each amphora vase with a slender ovoid fluted body on a round foot with lanceolate leaf decoration; the vase is standing on a high rectangular pedestal with rectangular plinth. Front and back of the pedestarl are adorned with a decorative cornucopia vignette, the sides show a decorative relief made of a laurel and a rosebud wreath bound together by an arrow. From the sides issuing two acanthus scroll handles touching the narrow neck of the vase. The depth of the vase is only as deep as the height of the neck.
