A pair of Charles X-patinated and gilt bronze candlesticks. The fluted, black patinated stem of each candlestick is highlighted on the top and bottom by an intricately sculpted pattern of beads and lines. The stem rests on a circular base accented by finely engraved flower heads. The sockets are richly decorated with flower heads as well and the nozzles repeating the beaded pattern.
A refined design playing with the seriousness of the black patinated bronze and the light heartedness of the finely chiseled golden surface.
