Pair of large Empire ormolu candlesticks, the stem ressembling the Trajan’s column or the column of the place Vendôme in Paris decorated with a continuous frieze of a rose garland in low relief. Resting on a circular base depicting chimera figures above a floral and palmetto leaf frieze featuring star symbols. Sockets and nozzles adorned with foliate and patterns.
Elegantly proportioned large pair of Empire candlesticks with beautiful mat and polished gilding and excellent chiselling.
