An excellent pair of French 19th century Louis XVI gilt bronze 3-light sconces:
Each sconce with a backplate in the shape of ribbons issuing from a decorative bow crowning the backplate. The lower end of the backplate in the shape of acathus leaves. From the backplate issuing three s-shaped candle arms adorned with foliage leading round drip pans and vase-shaped bobeches. Each sconce is adorned with a richly chased applied blooming flowers bouquet.
The pair of Louis XVI wall lights or sconces show excellent chasing and gilding.
