Pair of French early 19th century small Empire gilt bronze candlesticks
Fine pair of French small Empire candlesticks or bougeoirs, made circa 1810-1815, each with a fluted stem resting on a round foot decorated with a frieze of palmetto leaves and lilies of the valley, sockets and nozzles adorned with stylized foliage and flower pattern.
A finely chiseled model executed in high quality craftsmanship and a rather rare small size.
