An 18th century gilt bronze-mounted marquetry transition style commode with a moulded marble top above two long drawers, each veneered à deux faces and inlaid with geometric strapwork, with canted corners applied with gilt bronze mounts, with a shaped apron mounted with gilt bronze rocaille and foliage motif, on cabriole legs with gilt bronze sabots. Each drawer covered inside with rose colored fabric. Marble plate and bronze mounts added later to give the commode a fresher look.
