19th Century Dutch Louis XIV Baroque Style Brass Repoussé Wall Mirror
Rectangular beveled mirror plate surrounded by a broad Baroque style brass frame with intricate repoussé fruit and foliage decoration, the corners of the frame with Baroque female masks. The frame is backed with mirror plates which can be seen throgh the openwork of the frame. Two large and richly decorated floral festoons pending from the top. The surmount of triangle shape shows two putti supporting a foliate mirrored cartouche within acanthus scrolls. Topped by a neo-classical vase. Wooden back.
