A giltwood and mirrored neoclassical oval cartouche and dart-and-egg frieze frame with old mirror plate; the corners with paterae, the cresting with a central neoclassical vase or urn decorated with an abundant flower garland and flanked by two small vases. The base of the mirror is equipped with small leaf-shaped feet which allow the mirror to be put on a commode or chimney piece without necessarily fixing it to the wall. The water gilding in excellent original condition with a wonderfully aged patina.
