A fine Louis XVI style parcel-gilt and painted mirror from the late 19th-early 20th century. The rectangular mirror plate surrounded by a moulded frame, the delicate pierced cresting centred by a classical urn with pendant drapes on top and acanthus leaves, rosettes and draped swags below extending over the mirror plate. This delightful mirror demonstrate the enduring appeal of neoclassicism lasting until the late 19th century and even further.
