Large Louis XV bench or day bed made of carved and gilt wood raised by four cabriole legs ending in scrolled feet. The front with a curvy frieze showing a central scroll decoration, the back of plain wood, as the bench is supposed to stand with its back to the wall. Each side a with a scrolled armrest featuring a horizontal curved top rail and splat. Fixed mattress newly upholstered with modern linen fabric, two additional cushion rolls covered with the same fabric. Seating dimensions: 150 cm (59.05 in. ) x 73 cm (28.74 in.)
